Deutsche Welle (DW) Akademie Masters Scholarships | Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Deutsche Welle (DW) Akademie Masters Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:


1. Nationality: Applicants must be citizens of a developing country as defined by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list of ODA recipients.

2. Academic qualification: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a related field, such as journalism, media studies, communication, or a related field.

3. Professional experience: Applicants must have at least two years of professional experience in journalism or media.

4. Language proficiency: Applicants must have proficiency in English or German, as the courses are taught in these languages.

5. Leadership potential: Applicants should demonstrate leadership potential and a clear career perspective in the field of journalism or media.

6. Motivation: Applicants must submit a motivation letter explaining why they want to study in Germany and how they plan to use their knowledge and skills to contribute to their home country’s development.

Application Procedures
