University of Bradford GREAT Scholarships 2024


The University of Bradford GREAT Scholarships: Are open to students from all over the world, including the UK, China, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Turkey. The scholarships are designed to support students who are pursuing a master’s degree in a variety of subjects, including engineering, business, and law. The scholarships are worth up to £12,000 and are awarded based on academic merit.

The University of Bradford GREAT Scholarships 2024 are funded by the British Council and are designed to encourage international students to study in the UK. The scholarships are available for students from China, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Turkey, and are intended to support the development of academic talent in these countries. The scholarships cover the cost of tuition and living expenses, and are intended to help students reach their full potential

Applicable Courses

The applicable courses must be Full-time postgraduate Taught degree programmes.


To be eligible for the University of Bradford GREAT Scholarships 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Nationality: Applicants must be a citizen of China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, or Nigeria.


2. Course: Applicants must have an offer to study a full-time master’s degree at the University of Bradford in one of the eligible courses. The list of eligible courses can be found on the university’s website.

3. Academic requirements: Applicants must have achieved, or be expected to achieve, the equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree (or an upper second-class honours degree with a GPA of 65%) in their undergraduate studies.

4. English language requirements: Applicants must meet the English language requirements for their chosen course. The minimum English language requirements are as follows:

– IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
– TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 92 with a minimum of 17 in Writing and Listening, and 18 in Reading and Speaking
– PTE Academic: Overall score of 62 with a minimum of 51 in each component

Applicants who do not meet these requirements may still be considered if they can provide evidence of equivalent English language proficiency through alternative qualifications or tests.

5. Other requirements: Applicants must have applied for a student visa (if required) and accepted their offer to study at the University of Bradford by the scholarship application deadline. They must also provide a personal statement outlining their academic achievements, career aspirations, and how the scholarship will help them achieve their goals.


The scholarship application deadline is 30 April 2024. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by the end of June 2024.
